MFA Thesis Project
For my Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree, I designed a prototype for an interactive interface for an American Sign Language (ASL) dictionary. The purpose of this dictionary would be to offer people a way to use the visual and spatial properties of a sign to look up what it means in a database. This is in direct contrast to most ASL dictionaries available, in which one must look up a word to find the associated sign.
I have posted the Flash prototype walk-through and my thesis document in the MFA Thesis section of this site. Please visit that section to learn more.
